Automaxion SARL is participating in the ‘InForm’ project INTEGRATING NANOMATERIALS IN FORMULATIONS funded by the European Union Framework 7 programme. This project will receive over €1.5 million and involves 17 partners who will arrange activities and programmes for the dissemination of state of the art knowledge of synthesis, handling and use of nano-particles and nano-structured materials in formulations. These programmes are aimed at all those in Europe, USA and Asia-Pacific working in academia, public research laboratories and industry involved with the formulation, physical chemistry, handling, toxicology and processing of nano-materials.
The activities will range from scientific and technical forums, networking events and fact finding missions, to technical workshops that will take place during yearly events. In addition to three main yearly events, a researcher exchange program will be implemented.
“Because the introduction of new nano-materials in formulations requires careful evaluation of the environmental impact and toxicological effects, all companies involved in formulating products, small or large, need access to the latest international research in this field.” said Dr Stephen Bysouth of Automaxion SARL.
“InForm will create a simple, open and efficient means for the coordination of research activities in the area of nano-materials in formulations and encourage the international exchange of information that benefits us all” said Dr. Siperstein of the University of Manchester.
