We will soon be launching standard kits of predispensed cocrystal formers in GC/LC vials, in a variety of sets of 12 or 24, ready for addition of API for direct use in our Screening mill.
These kits contain a wide spectrum of acids, amines, amides, ureas and neutral compounds providing the best possible chance of forming a co-crystal.
- GRAS set 1: 12 diverse materials that are 'Generally Regarded As Safe' and a good starting point for a screen*
- GRAS set 2: 12 supplementary materials if a more extensive GRAS screen* is required
- Supplementary set 3:
- Supplementary set 4: sets of additional cocrystal formers for more diversity
- We will also prepare sets according to customers requirements for screens* or studies**. These may be standard custom sets or 'one-off'
*a screen is considered a rapid pass-or-fail test and the cocrystal formers in these screen kits are diverse enough that at least one ís likely to form a cocrystal with your API
**a study is considered an extensive series of tests of stoichiometry, solvent, conditions etc., and kits are prepared accordingly. Alternatively, a customer may already know what class of cocrystal former they would like to test and a set of a variety of compounds in this class may be supplied.
Kits will be provided with relevant chemical information and is expected to include vial weight, powder weight, molecular weight, moles, structure and Raman spectra
